On October 15th the annual American Physical Therapy of New Jersey (APTANJ) Convention was held in Atlantic City, New Jersey. This year’s convention combined the Physical Therapist Associations from New Jersey and New York to generate an incredible turnout. Over 400 physical therapists, physical therapist assistants and students were in attendance. Representatives from Aequor Healthcare were also in attendance, talking to therapists and gaining insight on the rehabilitation community. This experience helped us to better understand how our industry is evolving and what we can expect for the future. We would like to thank all of the therapists who took the time from their busy day to speak with us. We are already looking forward to next year’s convention!

Throughout the year, we also attend numerous job fairs of all sizes. Last week, we had the pleasure of attending one of New Jersey’s largest and most popular job fairs at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, NJ. With over 55 venders and over 700 potential employees, it was one of the largest turnouts that the annual fair has ever seen. We were able to speak with dozens of qualified and talented professionals, many of whom are now a part of the Aequor Healthcare team!

We feel that in order to succeed we must get to know the industry from the people who know it best: YOU! From day one, we have made it a priority to reach out to visit candidates and clients almost every single day. It Is important for us to build personal relationships with all of our clients, from large hospitals to the smallest, most intimate nursing home. Every client and candidate is treated with the first-class respect they deserve.
